Last year, the ALNF did a call out for books for young readers as a part of our Share-A-Book Program. We were overwhelmed by your support and generosity after we were inundated with donations of brand new and pre-loved children’s books and messages of support.
We were able to restock our warehouse facility and cross countless communities off our waiting list for reading materials. We’ve received lots of positive feedback from recipients across Australia and wonderful stories of new book clubs, libraries, homework groups and a growing enthusiasm for reading time.

Since the beginning of the year we have been busy sorting and packing, sending out over 27,000 books to over 55 sites. We’re exhausted, but thrilled to be able to share the love of books and reading with so many!
